The Delaney Agency is a life insurance and financial services agency based in Asheville, North Carolina. We help families protect their income, their homes and the people they love, and we develop the most impactful leaders in the industry.

No cold calling. No door knocking. You'll work only with individuals who have already asked for help.

About the Role

This is a client-first sales role. The people you speak with have already shown interest in coverage. Your job is to set appointments, listen and help them choose what's right for their family. All work is remote, by phone or Zoom, and backed by industry leading training, mentorship and a step-by-step process.

Responsibilities

• Follow up with people who requested coverage

• Connect with clients by phone or Zoom and help them get coverage in a budget that makes sense

• Grow by engaging in weekly training and coaching sessions

Qualifications

• Experience in 1099 or entrepreneurial environments, customer service, teaching, healthcare, retail, hospitality or sales is helpful, not required

• Growth - learn scripts, develop your skills and leadership

• Ability to use a computer and simple online tools

• Work ethic, character, and coach-ability. Do you stand out?

Requirements

• A reliable phone, computer and internet connection

• Willing to get a state life insurance license (course and exam fees are yours; we guide you through each step)

• Authorized to work in the U.S. and able to pass a background check

Pay

• 1099 independent contractor, paid 100% on commission

• An entry-level sale typically pays $600 to $800, based on current carrier contracts

• Full-time agents average 5 to 7 sales a week

• Agents buy their own leads; we'll show you how to budget for them
