Material Handler

Location: Houston, TX (100% Onsite) Duration: 3 Months (Contract to Permanent) Pay rate: $18.20 per hour on W2 Schedule: Monday to Friday from 5:00 AM - 3:30 PM and open to working weekends.

Responsibilities:

• Processes customer shipments and manual shipments (B-tickets).
• Analyzes order HOLDs and communicates with customer service.
• Analyzes inventory availability for shipments (location & quantity).
• Releases sales orders to pick status.
• Monitors sales orders picked but not shipped.
• Maintains shipping records per the Emerson record retention policy.
• Coordinates freight schedulessmall package, will call, LTL and TL.
• Follows up on customer orders allocated but not picked with appropriate personnel.
• Provides shipping documents to customer service as requested.
• Acts as a liaison between customer service and shipping activitiescoordinate weights & dims, shipping methods, etc.
• Requests/Creates commercial invoices for international shipments as needed.
• Monitors shipping supplies.
• Assists with Material Handling responsibilities as needed
• Performs other duties as assigned.
• Work overtime as required.
