Material HandlerArcosa Shoring is currently searching for a Material Handler for our Receiving Department. As a Material Handler at Arcosa Shoring, you will expedite the movement of raw and finished materials. You will pull and deliver materials to control the flow of goods.Location: Houston, TXSchedule: Monday - Friday 6:00 am - 3:45 pmWhat you'll do:Work in a warehouse/outside environment to issue parts/supplies to internal customersOperate forklifts and combiliftsConduct Quality inspections as neededCheck incoming material against BOL for accuracyUpdate inventory tracking softwareComplete knowledge of all workstations, loading, and storage requirements of materialsBackfill for other MOEs when neededWhat you'll need:Able to read and write in English & Spanish.Able to read a tape measureAbility to measure square inches on a steel plate preferredMust be able to operate a forklift and pass in-house certification.Safely and efficiently perform all essential functions.Regular and predictable attendance is required.Ability to function as a team member.Must have a valid driver's licenseWorking Conditions:Work environment includes plant, warehouse, paint department production and non-production areas and plant grounds.This position may require work/maintenance coverage beyond the normal hours, shift, and on weekends/holidaysAbility to tolerate both high and low temperatures and loud noises typical of a manufacturing plantSafety Activities:Be aware of and observe all safety practices.
