Warehouse Operations Specialist

Support continuous improvement initiatives by identifying process improvement opportunities related to inventory control, material handling, and warehouse operations. Responsibilities:

• Receive, stock and enter parts accurately and timely into the ERP System
• Perform data entry pertaining to the warehouse
• Assume a lead role in resolving issues, which relate to the receipt and stocking of incoming materials
• Consult with supervisors about any problems with picking, packaging or stocking stations
• Help others in the department if and as directed by the supervisor as it relates to the departmental processes
• Perform any other duties assigned by management
• Keep Maintenance schedules on warehouse equipment

Skills & Experience:

• Prefer 2 years general warehouse experience
• Ability to operate and maintain warehouse equipment
• Windows based computer experience

Tools/Equipment:

• Microsoft Office
• Forklift
• Pallet jack
• Weight scale

Physical Requirements: Lifting and moving heavy boxes or parts, setting up storage bins and moving them when necessary Work Environment: General as related to working in a warehouse environment
