Production SchedulerPay : $24.00 - $26.00/hourSchedule : Monday - Friday, 7 am - 4 pmAssignment Type : Temporary assignment expected to last approximately 3-4 months, with the possibility of extension based on business needs.Job SummaryA manufacturing company is seeking an experienced Production Scheduler to coordinate production activities and ensure manufacturing schedules align with customer demand, inventory requirements, and operational capacity. This position works closely with production, purchasing, planning, and leadership teams to maintain efficient workflows, minimize downtime, and support on-time delivery.ResponsibilitiesDevelop and maintain daily and weekly production schedules to meet customer demand and production goals.Coordinate production planning based on forecasts, inventory levels, equipment capacity, and staffing availability.Work closely with production, purchasing, and operations teams to ensure materials and resources are available.Monitor production schedules and make adjustments to address changing priorities, delays, or material shortages.Support inventory planning by monitoring raw material availability and production requirements.Utilize ERP/MRP systems to manage production schedules and inventory data.Coordinate machine changeovers, maintenance schedules, and production priorities with operations leadership.Track schedule performance and identify opportunities to improve efficiency and productivity.Communicate schedule changes and production priorities with supervisors and production teams.Monitor production progress to ensure schedules are being followed and reporting is accurate.Identify capacity constraints and recommend solutions to improve workflow.Prepare production reports and communicate production status to management.QualificationsMinimum of 5 years of production scheduling experience in a manufacturing environment.Bachelor's degree in Manufacturing, Business, Supply Chain, Operations, or a related field preferred.Advanced Microsoft Excel skills.Experience using ERP/MRP systems.Strong analytical, organizational, and problem-solving skills.Excellent communication and time management abilities.Ability to prioritize multiple projects in a fast-paced manufacturing environment.Ability to work independently while collaborating effectively across departments.Preferred QualificationsExperience supporting manufacturing and assembly operations.Experience coordinating production schedules across multiple departments or facilities.Knowledge of inventory control and production planning best practices.Experience with automated scheduling systems is a plus.Physical RequirementsAbility to sit, stand, and walk throughout the workday.Occasional bending, stooping, reaching, and lifting up to 35 pounds.Ability to work in both office and manufacturing environments.Why Apply?Competitive pay of $24.00-$26.00/hourMonday-Friday schedule with weekends offOpportunity to gain experience with a well-established manufacturing organizationCollaborative team environmentImmediate opening#J-18808-Ljbffr
