Position Responsibilities:

Chemicals Incorporated is hiring a Bench Chemist to work at our Bay City, TX plant. Good math, science, and communication skills required.

Position Responsibilities:

Hands-on laboratory work, conducting experiments, analyzing samples, etc.

General job functions ---

• Will be working under the supervision of a senior PhD chemist.
• Will support the resolution of manufacturing and product quality issues and provide technical assistance to the production team.
• Will assemble and set up lab equipment, perform synthesis and analytical experiments.
• Knowledge of various analytical techniques and instruments
• Observe and record all details and document the results of the above work.
• Perform minor maintenance on the lab equipment.
• Prepare list of supplies, parts etc. needed to conduct the synthesis work.
• Maintain a high standard of housekeeping, follow chemical hygiene plan and all the lab safety procedures.
• Bachelor's degree (organic chemistry courses) is a plus.
• Pay: $65-75K
