Title: Industrial Unitary & Light Equipment Mechanic

Location: Houston, TX

Salary Range: $42/hr - $48/hr+, commensurate with experience.

Description

We have an immediate opening for an embedded plant based unitary and light HVAC equipment mechanic. Chiller experience a plus.

• Ten (10) years minimum overall experience.
• Five (5) years of experience in a heavy commercial or industrial setting desired.
• Proficient diagnostic, troubleshooting, and repair skills.
• Chiller experience would be a plus.
• Assigned to single plant in Deer Park area.
• Schedule: (4) days per week, ten-hours per day. Overtime anticipated along with paid rotating on-call schedule.

Qualifications & Requirements

• Must be able to pass drug test (alcohol, urine, and hair-follicle) including pre-hire, annual, for-cause, and random testing.
• Must be able to pass a background check and motor vehicle record check.
• Must be able to complete and pass all safety training.
• EPA Card.
• TWIC Card required.

Pay & Technician Level

• $42 - $48+ per hour, commensurate with experience.
• We are seeking a Journeyman level HVAC Service technician.
• Prior union membership not required joining is a simple process we can assist with.

Job Type

• Full-time.
• Tuesday Friday (4 days per week, 10-hours per day).
• Occasional overtime.
• Rotating paid on-call schedule.
