Job Description Job Description JOB TITLE: Forklift Operator

LOCATION: On I-10 East & Wayside Houston, Tx 77020

SCHEDULE: Monday to Saturday, 7 am - 4:30 pm
OT based on production

PAY: $15/hr.

ESSENTIAL FUNCTIONS/RESPONSIBILITES:
Safely and efficiently operate forklifts to load, unload, move, stack, and stage products and materials.
Transport materials to and from designated areas in the yard, including loading and unloading from trucks or other vehicles.
Assist with inventory counts and maintain accurate records of materials moved and stored.
Follow all safety protocols and procedures, including wearing appropriate personal protective equipment (PPE) and adhering to company safety policies.
Perform routine inspections and maintenance on forklifts and other equipment to ensure proper functioning and report any issues or malfunctions to the supervisor.
Maintain a clean and organized work area, ensuring materials are stored properly and pathways are clear.
Work closely with other team members to coordinate tasks and ensure efficient operations.
Complete and maintain required documentation, such as delivery receipts, inventory logs, and equipment checklists.
Work according to assigned schedules, including potential overtime or weekend shifts as needed.
Assist with other yard-related tasks and duties as assigned by the supervisor.

QUALIFICATIONS/EXPERIENCE REQUIRED:
Previous experience operating the sit-down forklift.
Must be able to pass a background check and drug test.
Able to constantly lift 25-60 lbs.
Able to work in inclement weather.
