Cross Country Allied is seeking a travel MRI Technologist for a travel job in Houston, Texas. Job Description & Requirements Specialty: MRI Technologist Discipline: Allied Health Professional Start Date: 06/29/2026 Duration: 6 weeks 40 hours per week Shift: 10 hours, evenings Employment Type: Travel Job Summary: The MRI Technologist position is located in Houston, Texas, within a healthcare setting that requires a minimum of two years of experience in magnetic resonance imaging (MRI). The role involves working four 10-hour shifts from Tuesday through Friday, with additional coverage during evening hours, nights, and weekends as scheduled. Candidates are required to bring their license on the first day of the assignment. Job Details: Location: Houston, TX Schedule: Four 10-hour shifts, Tuesday through Friday, from 12:30 PM to 11:00 PM. Additional shifts include Monday night from 11:00 PM to 7:00 AM, and Saturday & Sunday from 7:00 AM to 7:00 AM the following day. On-call during weekend shifts is required if there is a call-in during the scheduled shift of 7:00 AM to 7:00 PM. Rotation for call coverage occurs approximately once a month, subject to change. Call back rates are rare, averaging 2-4 times per month. Required Qualifications: Certifications include BLS Certification and Certified MRI Technologist via ARMRIT. A minimum of 2 years of MRI experience is required. The candidate must have knowledge of Philips 1.5 and 3 Tesla MRI scanners; Siemens 1.5 Tesla will be available in June 2025. An ARMRIT license is accepted. Additional Information: Daily parking costs approximately $15 or more, with multiple on/off-campus garage options ranging from $95 to $120 for a monthly parking pass.
