Line And Antenna Tower Technician

B+T Group is seeking a Line and Antenna Tower Technician. This position is responsible for completing on-site field work activities associated with each wireless construction project.

Essential Functions (Key Responsibilities):

• Preparation Prepare equipment and materials for each project so the job can be completed properly, safely and efficiently.
• Field Work Perform L&A type work. To include installation of Radios, Antennas, MWs, and Coax lines.
• Documentation Record information associated with each work activity and report information after completing field work on the site.
• Perform related responsibilities as required or assigned by Top Hand, Foreman, or Management.

Requirements

Knowledge/Skill/Ability

• Physical Ability Ability to climb and work from heights above 100 feet while bearing the weight of more than 75 lbs. of equipment
• Communication Skills Proven oral and written communication skills
• Computer Skills Proficiency in the use of personal computers, including spreadsheet and word processing programs

Equivalent Education/Experience

• High School Diploma
• 2-5 years experience as a tower technician or in a related position within the industry preferred
• OSHA-10 Certification preferred
• CPR/First Aid preferred
• Competent Climber Certification preferred
• Clean Driving Record with Valid Driver's License required
• DOT physical required
