Job Description Job Description We are seeking a Machinist to join our team! Experience with manual engine lathes and manual horizontal boring mills a must. Compensation is very competitive and so is the benefits package.***Pay will commensurate with experience***Responsibilities:Operate manual lathes and mills to produce precision partsRead and understand drawingsUse of micrometers and other precision measuring tools.Test/Inspect completed parts for defectsPerform routine maintenance on machineryCalculate dimensions and tolerance using measuring instruments​ Qualifications:Previous experience with manual lathes and mills.Familiarity with manual machine tools and equipmentStrong analytical and mathematical skillsExpert in the use of precision measuring tools.Strong attention to detailCompany Description GlobalTech Motor & Controls, Inc., is a full service electric motor and generator manufacturing and repair facility located in Houston, Texas.
