OR Coordinator, OR Scheduling Call Center - Full time; 8:30 am-5 pm, Monday - Friday - 2 years of hospital or physician office experience preferred - OR scheduling and/or call center experience preferred - Customer Service experience preferred - Must have good computer skills and Microsoft Excel experience. This position is located at Memorial Hermann Texas Medical Center. Position responsible for assisting with scheduling all elective surgical procedures and assures that all of the appropriate clinical and insurance coding information is collected for the surgery schedule. Scheduler receives requests to schedule procedures from physician offices and schedules the procedure according to established guidelines. Scheduler provides accurate information so that all departments may view daily and maintains open communication with hospital departments and physician offices regarding schedule changes the activities of assigned OR Department.
