Job Details

Performs mechanical, physical, and properties testing on Polyolefin and Specialty Products, including resins, films, and molded parts (e.g., tensile/secant, hot tack, dart, puncture, tear, melt index, density, coefficient of friction (COF), oxygen transmission rate (OTR), water vapor transmission rate (WVTR), heat sealing, Differential Scanning Calorimetry (DSC), and Thermogravimetric Analysis (TGA)). Testing may include solid, liquid, and intermediate materials across polymeric and chemical systems. Prepares and tests samples by reading and strictly following detailed ASTM, ISO, and site-specific standard methods to generate high quality, reliable data. Operates, maintains, and troubleshoots analytical, physical properties, and process development equipment, including large industrial-scale fabrication equipment (e.g., film and molded parts fabrication).
