As a Citrix and AVD Architect, you will be responsible for designing, implementing, and maintaining virtual desktop solutions that leverage Citrix technologies and the Azure platform. You will collaborate with cross-functional teams to understand business requirements, design scalable and secure architectures, and ensure a smooth deployment and operation of virtual desktop environments./ph3Responsibilities:/h3ulliSolution Design: Architect end-to-end virtual desktop solutions by analyzing business requirements, assessing existing infrastructure, and designing scalable, secure, and high-performance architectures./liliCitrix Integration: Design and integrate Citrix products, including Citrix Virtual Apps and Desktops, Citrix ADC, and Citrix Cloud, with Azure virtual desktop services to provide a comprehensive and cohesive virtual desktop solution./liliAzure Virtual Desktop Configuration: Configure and manage Azure virtual machines, session hosts, virtual networks, and storage to create and maintain Azure virtual desktop environments. Ensure proper image management, user profile management, and application delivery mechanisms./liliIdentity and Access Management: Design and implement identity and access management strategies, including integration with Azure Active Directory, multi-factor authentication, and role-based access controls for virtual desktop environments./liliNetwork Infrastructure: Design and configure network connectivity between on-premises infrastructure and Azure, including network security measures, such as firewalls, VPNs, and load balancers, to ensure secure and efficient data transfer./liliPerformance Optimization: Optimize virtual desktop environments for performance, scalability, and user experience. Monitor and tune resource allocation, load balancing, and network bandwidth to ensure optimal performance./liliSecurity and Compliance: Implement security measures, including data encryption, access controls, and compliance requirements, to protect virtual desktop environments and ensure compliance with industry regulations and organizational policies./liliHigh Availability and Disaster Recovery: Design and implement high availability and disaster recovery solutions to minimize downtime and data loss. Create redundancy mechanisms, backup strategies, and failover mechanisms to ensure business continuity./liliMonitoring and Troubleshooting: Set up monitoring tools and processes to proactively monitor the virtual desktop infrastructure. Identify and troubleshoot performance issues, system errors, and network connectivity problems to maintain a stable and reliable environment./liliDocumentation and Collaboration: Create design documentation, implementation guides, and operational procedures. Collaborate with cross-functional teams, including infrastructure teams, security teams, and application owners, to ensure successful deployment and ongoing management of virtual desktop solutions./li/ulh3Requirements:/h3ulliBachelors degree in computer science, information technology, or a related field (or equivalent work experience)./liliSeveral years of experience as a Citrix Architect or similar role, designing and implementing virtual desktop solutions using Citrix technologies./liliStrong knowledge of Azure virtual desktop services, including Azure Virtual Machines, Azure Active Directory, and virtual networks./liliProficiency in Citrix Virtual Apps and Desktops, Citrix ADC, and Citrix Cloud./liliExperience in network design, including connectivity options, firewalls, VPNs, and load balancers./liliFamiliarity with identity and access management concepts, including Azure Active Directory, multi-factor authentication, and role-based access controls./liliUnderstanding of performance optimization techniques, monitoring tools, and troubleshooting methodologies./liliKnowledge of security best practices, data encryption, access controls, and compliance requirements./liliExperience in designing high availability and disaster recovery solutions for virtual desktop environments./liliExcellent documentation and communication skills./liliStrong analytical and problem-solving abilities./liliCertifications in Citrix and Azure technologies are a plus./li/ul/div
