Security Technician Infrastructure

Anistar Technologies is seeking a Security Technician to install and service access control, CCTV, and surveillance systems. The position supports the security solutions business by installing and troubleshooting newly installed electronic security encompassing intrusion detection, access control, and closed circuit television equipment and devices.

Responsibilities:

• Access control installation in commercial construction environments
• Door access control systems trim-out
• Card readers, motion sensors, door contacts, mag locks
• Pulling cable into access control systems
• Must be comfortable working from scissor/boom lifts if required

Required Knowledge/Skills, Education, and Experience:

• Pulling, routing, installing and terminating structured cabling infrastructure in a commercial environment.
• 4+ years' experience installing and servicing voice and data systems in a commercial environment.
• Ownership of basic telecom tools: Punch down, snips, wire strippers, cordless drill, Hard Hat, Boots, Safety Glasses, etc.
• Familiarity with Lenel, Verkada, S2, Milestone, and Genetec systems.
