  • Adjust change parts, clearances, and timing during changeovers to support different products and packaging formats.
  • Provide training to customers and coworkers on equipment operation, maintenance, and troubleshooting procedures.
  • Collaborate with internal divisions such as filler, seamer, and capper teams to ensure seamless equipment interface and performance.

  • Follow established procedures for travel, documentation, and reporting, including use of internal systems to track assignments and schedules.

  • Basic computer skills, including proficiency using a laptop for programming and documentation.
  • Experience working directly with customers in the field, providing service and support.

Additional Skills & Qualifications

  • Ability to read and interpret mechanical and electrical drawings and schematics.

Work Environment

This role involves traveling up to 100% of the time, primarily within the United States and occasionally to Canada, with most trips ranging from 5 to 10 days, and some assignments lasting from 23 days up to approximately 3 weeks. When not traveling, the technician works at a large manufacturing facility equipped with automated packaging machinery in a very clean environment. All work-related travel expenses, including flights, car rentals, and per diem for meals, are covered, and a company credit card and travel specialist support are provided.
