The Patient Care Assistant (PCA) provides hands-on care, supervision, and rehabilitation support to adult patients recovering from neurological injuries or living with long-term care needs. Working under the supervision of licensed nurses and rehabilitation professionals, the PCA helps patients with daily routines, therapeutic activities, and behavioral support in a compassionate, structured environment designed to promote recovery and independence. Key Responsibilities. Provide direct care and assistance with Activities of Daily Living (ADLs) such as bathing, dressing, feeding, mobility, transfers, and grooming. Observe, monitor, and accurately document patient behavior, participation, and vital signs.
