Position SummaryThe Intake Supervisor serves as the first legal point of contact for prospective clients, evaluating potential personal injury claims, providing initial legal guidance, and determining case viability. This role is critical in converting qualified leads into retained clients while ensuring a high standard of client care and ethical compliance.Key ResponsibilitiesClient ConsultationsConduct initial consultations with prospective clients via phone, video, or in personGather facts, assess injuries, liability, and damagesBuild rapport and establish trust with potential clientsCase EvaluationAnalyze potential personal injury claims (auto accidents, slip and falls, premises liability, etc.)Determine case merit based on liability, damages, and collectabilityIdentify red flags and risks early in the intake processCase Sign-Up & ConversionClearly explain legal rights, process, and contingency fee agreementsConvert qualified leads into retained clientsEnsure all retainer agreements and documentation are properly executedDocumentation & ComplianceAccurately document consultations in CRM/case management systemEnsure compliance with ethical standards and firm policiesCoordinate with intake staff for file setup and onboardingCollaborationWork closely with intake specialists, case managers, and litigation teamsProvide feedback to marketing/intake teams on lead qualityAssist in refining intake processes and scriptsSkills & CompetenciesExcellent communication and client-facing skillsStrong issue-spotting and analytical abilitySales-oriented mindset with a client-first approachAbility to make quick, sound decisionsHighly organized with attention to detailComfortable working in a fast-paced, high-volume environment
