SAP Delivery Manager

Location: Houston, TX (Onsite 5 Days a Week) Employment Type: Full-Time

About the Role:

We are seeking an experienced SAP Delivery Manager to lead the delivery of new applications and support existing SAP solutions for a leading oil and gas company. The company relies on SAP for its end-to-end operational processes, covering both offshore and onsite operations in oil fields and wells. The role requires close collaboration with stakeholders, ensuring seamless execution of SAP initiatives while aligning with business objectives.

The SAP landscape includes, but is not limited to, SAP MM, SAP SuccessFactors, SAP Plant Maintenance, and SAP BTP, supporting critical business functions. This position requires knowledge and experience working with SAP Business Technology Platform (BTP) for developing and integrating applications across the SAP ecosystem.

This position is based in Houston and requires working from the office five days a week to engage with key stakeholders and drive project success.

Key Responsibilities:

• Oversee SAP project delivery, ensuring high-quality implementation and support.
• Act as a primary liaison between business stakeholders and SAP teams, translating business needs into technical solutions.
• Manage and coordinate efforts between the nearshore team in Calgary and the offshore team in Bangalore.
• Ensure alignment of SAP initiatives with business goals and operational requirements.
• Drive continuous improvements in SAP-related processes and system performance.
• Provide leadership in issue resolution, risk management, and change management.
• Collaborate with SAP functional and technical teams to ensure smooth project execution.
• Lead the integration of SAP solutions with SAP BTP for seamless application and data workflows.

Required Qualifications & Experience:

• 10+ years of experience in SAP project delivery and support.
• Strong understanding of SAP MM, SAP SuccessFactors, SAP Plant Maintenance, SAP BTP, and broader SAP integration capabilities.
• Experience in managing SAP implementation and support projects for oil & gas or energy sector clients is preferred.
• Proven experience working with onsite, nearshore, and offshore teams.
• Strong stakeholder management skills with the ability to engage senior leadership.
• Excellent problem-solving skills with a focus on business outcomes.
• Hands-on experience with SAP BTP for application integration, extension, and development.

Preferred Skills:

• Knowledge of SAP S/4HANA migration and cloud-based SAP solutions is a plus.
• Experience with SAP analytics, reporting tools, and integrations with third-party applications.
• Ability to drive SAP best practices and governance standards.
