Chromatography Technical Sales

Greater Houston, TEXAS


Excellent opportunity for an analytical chemist looking for a career in technical sales! We are searching for a passionate and organized individual to promote chromatography consumable products (LC/GC/SPE) throughout The Greater Houston area.


Primary Responsibilities

  • Identify and cultivate business opportunities in a range of lab settings with a focus on Oil and Gas (O&G), environmental, clinical, and food testing markets
  • Build relationships with customers based on your ability to provide outstanding technical advice and finding solutions to their business needs
  • Attend conferences and maintain a strong understanding of markets trends to ensure your product portfolio is positioned in the best possible manner


Candidate Qualifications

  • Minimum of BS in Chemistry or closely related subject
  • Either
  • ...2+ years in a customer-facing role (apps / sales / field service)
  • ...OR a thorough understanding of chromatography (LC and/or GC) and the desire & aptitude to enter a career in technical sales
  • The ability to travel ~50%
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills


Salary:

  • Base $85-95K + $30K commission at plan (uncapped)
  • Excellent car allowance; additional performance-related bonuses
