Aerotek - - Responsibilities: Set up CNC lathes with Fanuc controls for short-run production of larger parts, including tooling, offsets, and program selection.; Interpret and work from blueprints and technical drawings to determine machining operations, dimensions, and tolerances.; Program or edit programs at the machine using G and M codes to achieve the required features and dimensions.; Operate CNC lathes to machine large components, using either vertical or horizontal turning experience as applicable.; Perform in-process inspection of your own parts using micrometers, calipers, and other precision measuring tools to verify dimensions and tolerances.
