We're partnering with a major Houston-based energy company known for its long-term stability, strong growth, and investment in infrastructure modernization to hire a GIS Analyst. This is an excellent opportunity for someone early in their GIS career to gain hands-on experience supporting large-scale utility and mapping operations in a collaborative environment.

This role is ideal for recent graduates or junior GIS professionals looking to build technical experience with industry-leading GIS platforms and processes.

Responsibilities:

• Review and validate GIS data for accuracy and consistency

• Interpret facility documentation and apply GIS digitizing standards

• Update and maintain GIS-related databases and mapping systems

• Work with records maps, CAD drawings, land base maps, and other source documentation

• Collaborate with team members to identify issues and improve data quality and processes

Requirements:

• Bachelor's degree in GIS, Geography, Computer Science, or related field preferred

• 0–2 years of GIS experience

• Exposure to GIS software such as ESRI, AutoDesk, Bentley, Intergraph, or similar tools

• Strong understanding of geographic and mapping concepts

• Proficiency with Microsoft Office and general computer applications

• Strong attention to detail and ability to work in a team-oriented environment
