V-Tork USA is a leading manufacturer of pneumatic and electric valve actuators. V-Tork USA sells its actuators through Distributors and Valve OEMs in North America.

This is an Inside Sales position that is responsible for providing technical assistance and actuator selection for Distributors and Valve OEM accounts. The Inside Sales Representative will work in our V-Tork USA office in Houston, Texas.

The Inside Sales Representative is responsible for overall customer service and will be the key contact for quotations and actuator sizing requests. Each member of our Inside Sales team is responsible for providing quick and accurate technical and commercial support to our Distributors and Valve OEMs. This team member will manage inquiries, orders, technical requests, and delivery estimates by phone or email. The Inside Salesperson will also accept and enter orders, provide quotes, research item availability requests, answer pricing questions, enter returns and credits.

Responsibilities:

· Review customers' inquiries for application requirements and commercial terms and conditions.

· Prepare quotations in response to customer inquiries in accordance with controlled prices, discounts, terms and conditions and sales policies and procedures.

· Review customer purchase orders for correct pricing, discounts, terms and conditions, part numbers and prepare for order entry.

· Provide order status and pricing information to Distributors and Valve OEMs.

· Prepare orders to be placed on factory and maintain close follow up communications with factory personnel.

· Understanding of basic actuator functions.

· Provide actuator sizing and selection assistance to Distributors and Valve OEMs.

· Develop and establish a professional relationship with Distributors and Valve OEMs.

· Ability to identify problems and provide solutions.

· Work closely with Operations Manager and Shop personnel.

· Understand inventory management system.

· Assist other departments in resolving issues related to customer sales and service.

Requirements

· 2-5 years' Inside Sales experience in the industrial valve or valve actuator field

· Extensive phone and email communication experience in a Customer Service environment

· Proficiency in Microsoft (MS) Office including Word, Excel, and Outlook
