Armed Luxury Retail Security Officer

Location: Houston

Pay: $18.50 per hour

Job Type: Part-Time | Approximately 30 hours weekly

Schedule: Tuesday, Wednesday & Thursday 8:20 AM 6:45 PM

We are seeking a polished, highly professional Armed Luxury Retail Security Officer to join an elite security team supporting a distinguished luxury retail environment. This role is ideal for individuals who embody discretion, composure, and exceptional client-facing presence while maintaining the highest standards of safety and security. The ideal candidate understands the refined atmosphere of luxury retail and fine jewelry environments, where professionalism, attentiveness, and elevated customer service are equally essential.

Responsibilities

• Maintain a secure and welcoming environment for clients, guests, and boutique personnel
• Provide a discreet yet visible security presence throughout the boutique
• Monitor customer activity and safeguard high-value merchandise and assets
• Respond promptly and professionally to security incidents or emergencies
• Collaborate closely with boutique leadership and team members to uphold operational excellence
• Deliver exceptional professionalism and situational awareness at all times
• Remain standing and actively observant for extended periods throughout the shift

Qualifications

• Valid Texas Level III Commissioned Security Officer License required
• Prior armed security experience required
• Previous experience in luxury retail, fine jewelry, designer boutique, or high-end retail security strongly preferred
• Must possess personal armed security equipment, including:
• Duty belt
• Holster
• Firearm/weapon
• Impeccable appearance, demeanor, and communication skills
• Ability to interact with affluent clientele with confidence, discretion, and professionalism
• Strong understanding of de-escalation and customer service within luxury environments
• Reliable, punctual, and detail-oriented

Preferred Attributes

• Experience working within luxury boutiques, designer retail, fine jewelry, or prestigious hospitality settings
• Calm under pressure with a refined, service-oriented approach
• Ability to represent the brand with sophistication, poise, and integrity

HS Diploma GED or H.S. Equivalent
