Pipefitter Foreman - Austin Industrial (Pasadena, TX)

The purpose of this job is to provide supervision and coordination of workers engaged in various types of construction projects. The goals of this position include scheduling work to meet timetables in a safe manner, per the plans and specifications, and to meet estimated cost. This position may be required to maintain a good working relationship with inspectors, developers, vendors, subcontractors, etc. Other duties may be assigned.

Supervisory Responsibilities include skilled and semi-skilled hourly employee-owners.

Functional Areas of Responsibility include managing a small amount of onsite equipment fleet, recruiting hourly trade personnel, executing "Look Ahead" schedules, managing craftsmen, equipment, and material resources, logistics planning, executing project Work Plans, working crews productively and efficiently; meeting daily cost objectives, training, purchasing of unincorporated materials, tools, supplies, safe work place, and quality of work.

Specific duties and responsibilities include planning, cost performance, scheduling, quality management, relationships, safety, and technical aspects of the job.

Physical demands include sitting, using hands to finger, handling, or feel and reach with hands and arms, standing, walking, climbing or balancing, stooping, kneeling, crouching, or crawling, talking or hearing, and tasting or smelling. The employee must regularly lift and/or move up to 25 pounds and may frequently lift and/or move up to 50 pounds. Specific vision abilities required by this job include close vision, distance vision, peripheral vision, depth perception, and ability to adjust focus.

Qualifications required for this position include no minimum education requirements, NCCER, TWIC and DL certifications/licenses, and 5+ years of Industrial and Supervisory experience preferred.
