Job Details

Performs inspections of public infrastructures for various civil construction projects (i.e., Collection System Construction) to ensure conformance to project specifications and contract documents. Responsibilities include:Conducts on-site inspections and enforcement of work being performed by contractors in compliance with the related contract plan and specifications and the City of Houston codes and ordinances. Coordinates and conducts various types of measurements, inspections, and review to assure conformance with technical specifications. Performs inspections, identifies problem areas and recommends solutions. Prepares and submits field notes, checklists, logs, and technical reports for various job sites. Performs record keeping activities to maintain filing systems, reports and documentation. Reviews drawings and specifications for a variety of municipal projects.
