Business Development Specialist

Description:

Our client in the Oil & Gas industry is hiring a Business Development Representative in Houston, TX. This role focuses on supporting trucking and commercial operations while helping grow and manage client relationships. The ideal candidate is detail-oriented, customer-focused, and comfortable working cross-functionally in a fast-paced environment.

Key Responsibilities

  • Coordinate customer onboarding and trucking setup, including documentation and compliance
  • Partner with operations, engineering, accounting, and business development teams
  • Support account management efforts and initiatives to increase trucked volumes
  • Assist with pricing support, proposals, and contract coordination
  • Track market activity and support business development opportunities
  • Attend client meetings and industry networking events as needed

Qualifications

  • Bachelor's degree or equivalent experience
  • Prior experience in oil & gas, midstream, or industrial environments preferred
  • Experience supporting customer accounts, operations, or business development teams
  • Strong communication, organization, and problem-solving skills
  • Comfortable working with internal systems and Microsoft Office tools
  • Able to adapt in a fast-paced, deadline-driven environment
