Location: Houston, TX 77041 (Jersey Village) Salary: $50,000 $60,000 (DOE) Type: Direct Hire | Full-Time | On-Site

Join a tight-knit, high-energy team for a leading utility contractor. We are looking for a sharp, bilingual professional to manage the resolution of property damage claims. This is a critical role for our company's reputation, acting as the primary liaison between our field crews, the community (including CenterPoint reports), and our internal management. Key Responsibilities

  • Claims Investigation: Respond to damage reports involving homeowners and businesses; investigate the scope of damage and determine liability.
  • Communication Liaison: Serve as the point of contact for affected property owners; handle all inquiries with professionalism and empathy.
  • Coordination: Work closely with our internal construction crews to schedule and verify repairs.
  • Documentation: Maintain meticulously organized digital files, photographic evidence, and summary reports for active claims and audits.
  • Administrative Support: Assist with general office flow and provide minor support for employee programs (approx. 20% of the role).

Requirements

  • Experience: 35+ years of experience in Property & Casualty (P&C) insurance or claims coordination required.
  • Bilingual: Fluent English and Spanish (Written & Verbal) is essential for community communication.
  • Tech Savvy: Strong proficiency in Microsoft Office, particularly Advanced Excel (tracking/reporting).
  • Analytical Mindset: Ability to investigate facts, read damage reports, and draw logical conclusions.
  • Soft Skills: A "team-first" attitude, excellent de-escalation skills, and a high level of discretion.
