Operations Support Administrator

LHH Recruitment Solutions is partnering with a client in Southeast Houston to identify a reliable and motivated Operations Support Administrator to support a fast-paced operations team. This temp-to-perm opportunity is well suited for someone who enjoys administrative work, is eager to learn new systems, and thrives in an environment where teamwork and adaptability are essential.

While prior industry experience is not required, 13 years of administrative support experience will help ensure success in this role.

Operations Support Administrator (Temp-to-Perm)

Location: Southeast Houston, TX 77058 Schedule: 8:00 AM4:30 PM or 8:30 AM5:00 PM Pay Rate: $19$23/hour Employment Type: Temp-to-Perm Work Environment: Fully onsite during contract period

Key Responsibilities
  • Enter and maintain accurate data in internal operating systems
  • Research and retrieve information from external websites (e.g., sale dates, arrival dates)
  • Create and manage Bill of Lading masters within internal systems and ocean carrier portals
  • Provide administrative and operational support to senior team members
  • Learn and navigate multiple internal systems and external platforms
  • Take detailed notes and document processes to support accuracy and consistency

    • Microsoft Excel (basic navigation and common functions)
    • Microsoft Teams
Work Environment & Expectations
  • Fully onsite during the temp-to-perm period (no remote work during contract)
  • Potential hybrid eligibility after approximately 56 months, in accordance with company policy
  • Must be dependable and realistic about commuting to Southeast Houston (77058)
  • Consistent attendance and reliability are critical
