Relate Search has partnered with a non-profit organization in their search for a Retail Store Manager to lead the day-to-day operations of a resale retail environment. This role will play a key part in balancing retail performance with community engagement, overseeing inventory flow, pricing strategy, merchandising, and volunteer coordination. The ideal candidate will operate as a hands-on leader, driving revenue across in-store and online channels while creating a welcoming and well-curated shopping experience. This is a highly visible opportunity to make a meaningful impact within both the business and the local community.
Responsibilities:
Lead daily store operations including inventory intake, processing, and merchandising across a high-volume donation environment
Drive revenue through strategic pricing, product positioning, and active engagement on the retail floor
Curate and maintain an organized, visually compelling store layout to enhance customer experience and increase repeat traffic
Partner with volunteers by providing guidance, training, and support to foster a positive and mission-driven environment
Build relationships within the local community to increase donations, partnerships, and overall store visibility
Qualifications:
5+ years of experience in retail, resale, or thrift store management
Strong merchandising instincts and sales acumen
Proven ability to operate independently in a hands-on, entrepreneurial environment
Experience working with or leading volunteer-based teams
Strong interpersonal and communication skills with a customer-focused mindset
