Financial Analyst

EPSI Worx is seeking a Financial Analyst with experience in Business Planning Consolidation (BPC) and SAP to support our client in Houston, TX. As a Financial Analyst, you will play a critical role in supporting the Financial Systems and reporting team. The ideal candidate will possess hands-on experience with BPC, SAP, financial planning & analysis skills. You will be responsible for developing and configuring BPC solutions, maintaining logic scripts, and ensuring the smooth operation of financial systems.

Key Responsibilities:

BPC Solution Development:

• Develop and configure BPC solutions, ensuring alignment with financial planning, budgeting, forecasting, and consolidation requirements.
• Maintain logic scripts to enhance system functionality.

SAP Expertise:

• Utilize expertise in SAP, especially within the BW backend, to support financial data processing and reporting.

System Maintenance and Support:

• Support the Financial Systems and reporting team in maintaining SAP BPC, including input packages and report maintenance.
• Perform validation and troubleshoot the system and report issues.

Data Management:

• Manage master data updates, data uploads, and data movement between applications.
• Conduct validation of data to ensure accuracy and integrity.

Testing and Validation:

• Test and validate new and existing processes within the BPC system.

User Support:

• Resolve user issues related to BPC functionality.
• Assist with onboarding new companies to the BPC system.

Access Management:

• Assist new users and resolve access issues for current users.
• Troubleshoot BPC connection issues with the support team.

Collaboration and Communication:

• Work closely with the team to ensure that enhancements, updates, and changes to the BPC Metadata cause minimal disruption to operating companies.

Qualifications:

• Bachelor's degree in finance, Accounting, Business, or a related field.
• Proven experience in BPC (Business Planning and Consolidation) and SAP.
• Strong financial planning and analysis skills.
• Knowledge of logic scripts and experience in BW backend.
• Ability to troubleshoot and resolve system issues.
• Detail-oriented with strong analytical and problem-solving skills.
• Excellent communication and collaboration skills.
