Superintendent of Trailer Operations

Olive Recruiting is seeking an experienced Superintendent to join our client's team in Houston. This position plays a critical leadership role in the execution of SPMT/PST-E projects, supporting both domestic and international operations. As a key member of the operations team, the superintendent ensures safe, efficient, and effective delivery of complex heavy haul initiatives.

Responsibilities:

• Lead and oversee a dedicated team of heavy transport and lift personnel for key transport projects
• Provide leadership, guidance, and mentorship to promote safe, efficient, and effective work practices
• Coordinate and execute the loading, unloading, programming, assembly, disassembly, and outfitting of trailers with auxiliary equipment
• Operate SPMT and related equipment in accordance with manufacturer specifications and operational best practices
• Perform routine and preventive maintenance to ensure optimal equipment performance and reliability

Qualifications:

• Professional-level experience operating SPMT/PST-E trailers
• Hands-on experience transporting oversized and over-dimensional loads using hydraulic modular platform trailers, such as Goldhofer
• Proven leadership experience with a track record of successfully managing internal and external projects
• Strong situational awareness and exceptional communication skills
• Working knowledge of hydraulics, electrical systems, mechanical principles, and applied mathematics
• Minimum of three years of relevant industry experience
