JOB DESCRIPTION
RESPONSIBILITIES:
Drive Operational Excellence to achieve Customer Satisfaction and Business Profitability
Assist in deploying a Lean Transformation program in multiple plants.
Identify and deliver on cost-reduction opportunities in multiple plants to meet business goals, while building a pipeline of future cost-reduction opportunities.
Lead and facilitate kaizens to improve SQDC (Safety, Quality, Delivery, and Cost) performance of manufacturing operations.
Lead various multi-functional manufacturing projects to help the business achieve its goals.
Act as a change agent, challenging organizational leaders to see opportunities, drive continuous improvements and remove barriers to progress.
Strengthen organizational capabilities
Conduct training programs to increase capabilities in lean manufacturing and problem-solving.
QUALIFICATIONS:
Demonstrated hands-on experience and tangible results driving multiple kaizens projects and projects in Continuous Improvement, Lean Manufacturing, and Six Sigma.
Subject matter expertise in lean manufacturing concepts and tools, including Value Stream Mapping, Lean Material Flow, and Cell Design.
Familiarity with various manufacturing process technologies.
Strong knowledge and expertise with methods and concepts in Manufacturing Engineering and Industrial Engineering.
Experienced in training, coaching, or mentoring to improve employees' capabilities in problem-solving, Lean tool application, and kaizen leadership.
Proficiency in data-driven analysis and decision-making.
Comfortable with ambiguity and able to interpret and determine a way forward.
Excellent communication, interpersonal, organizational, and leadership skills.
Must be willing to travel up to 50% of the time.
Bachelor's Degree in Engineering required.
Prefer 3 or more years of practitioner experience in a Lean Manufacturing environment.
