As a Security Officer Full Time Driving Patrol in La Porte, TX, you will serve and safeguard clients in a range of industries such as Chemical/Petrochemical, and more. Provide customer service to visitors, contractors, and site personnel by carrying out security-related procedures, location-specific policies, and/or emergency response activities appropriate for a chemical and petrochemical location.
Respond to incidents, alarms, and unusual conditions in a calm, problem-solving manner, documenting observations and communicating relevant details to site contacts and/or Allied Universal leadership.
Conduct regular and random patrols throughout assigned buildings, operational areas, and perimeter zones to help to deter unauthorized activity and identify potential hazards or policy concerns.
Monitor access points and verify entry and exit activity in accordance with site protocols, helping to support authorized access for employees, visitors, and/or deliveries.
Assist with incident reporting, emergency notifications, and follow-up tasks related to spills, equipment issues, evacuations, and/or other location-specific events as directed by site procedures.
A TSA-issued TWIC is required. A valid driver's license is required in accordance with Allied Universal driver policy requirements. A Guard Card or license is preferred. Being comfortable using a computer or tablet is preferred. Customer service experience is preferred. Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles; 21+ years of age for armed roles. Possess a high school diploma or equivalent. As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws. Allied Universal will consider qualified applications with criminal histories in a manner consistent with applicable laws. As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law. Licensing requirements are subject to state and/or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment. A valid driver's license will be required for driving positions only.
