Corporate/M&A Associate | Houston | AmLaw 50 Firm

I'm working directly with an AmLaw 50 firm that's actively adding to its Corporate/M&A team in Houston and looking for a strong mid-level associate to join a high-performing group.

OVERVIEW

THE PRACTICE: Sophisticated M&A transactions across a range of industries, including both private and public company buy- and sell-side deals, with meaningful involvement from diligence through execution

Experience: 3–6 YOE; must have strong large law firm training and hands-on experience across all phases of M&A transactions (drafting, diligence, deal management)

Focus: Broad corporate/M&A, with exposure to energy transactions as a plus (not required)

Compensation: $260K–$390K base (Cravath scale, DOE) + bonuses

Setup: Houston-based (hybrid)

You'll be working alongside a well-regarded deal team on complex, high-value transactions, with real responsibility and direct client exposure. This is a group that values associates who can run with deals, think commercially, and operate as true extensions of their clients.
