About the Role
Families enrolling at Alpha are accustomed to having trusted advisors throughout every facet of their lives. This role fulfills the one relationship they haven't yet established. You will become the person they reach out to in moments of uncertainty, when intuitionsuggests something requires attention, or when they want to share milestones that you appreciate. Your familiarity with each family will enable you to sense their needs ahead of time—and you will possess the judgment and composure to address whatever they bring with care, authenticity, and apparent ease.
Trust of this depth is not the result of a system. It emerges from presence—steady, recurring, and unhurried. You will be accessible during morning arrival and afternoon departure, at important evening gatherings, and in private exchanges that never appear on a schedule.
Alpha operates outside conventional educational frameworks. Students complete their core curriculum in two hours daily through AI-supported applications, dedicating the rest of their day to public speaking, analytical reasoning, and applied projects. No traditional instruction, no filler assignments. Outcomes in the top 1% nationally. The families who select it are investing in a vision they endorse—conviction requires consistent care.
What You Will Be Doing
- Steward the relationship with each family on campus—the continuous, evolving connection that ensures parents feel recognized, not merely accommodated
- Identify potential issues before they surface as formal discussions, and address them with the tact and interpersonal skill that preserves confidence
- Maintain consistent visibility in the spaces families occupy: morning arrival (7–9am), afternoon departure (2–4pm), evening parent gatherings, and select weekend engagements
- Develop a campus culture with authentic depth—programs, rituals, and interactions that help families feel integrated into something they value
- Encourage parent advocacy through natural channels, delivering experiences of such consistent quality that referrals arise organically
- Sustain the dialogue around Alpha's AI-enhanced approach with families managing screen time concerns, skeptical relatives, and periodic uncertainty—not merely during the admissions phase, but throughout enrollment
- Recognize when a family may not align with the community and manage that realization with the same professionalism you apply universally—safeguarding the community is integral to serving it
- Establish the structures and cadences this position demands in a setting where protocols are still emerging
What You Won't Be Doing
- Overseeing enrollment—that responsibility belongs to the Admissions Director; your role starts when families commit and grows from that point forward
- Operating from an office—your visibility within the community defines the function
- Maintaining standard 9–5 availability—early mornings, late afternoons, and evening programming are integral to the position, not occasional demands
- Relying on administrative infrastructure, established procedures, or a complete team—you function with significant independence and develop what the role requires
- Approaching family relationships as transactional accounts—this role values authentic engagement, not procedural adherence
Director Of Parent Engagement & Advocacy Key Responsibilities

- Legally authorized to work in the U.S. without sponsorship
- 5+ years in a client-facing role supporting high-net-worth or ultra-high-net-worth families—contexts such as private school admissions, premium hospitality, philanthropic advising, or any setting where discretion, warmth, and interpersonal sophistication were as critical as competence
- Proven capacity to maintain relationships through challenging situations with sophisticated families and exit with confidence reinforced
- Authentic communication style and demeanor that builds credibility efficiently with affluent, demanding families—polished but not rehearsed
- Direct familiarity with independent, private, or alternative education—through professional experience or as a parent—that lends you credibility when families scrutinize the model
- Authentic commitment to AI-powered education and the capacity to sustain that conviction through sustained parent relationships, beyond the initial enrollment discussion
