The Software Engineering Director for AI Tooling plays a pivotal role in translating strategy into execution—designing and scaling modern software platforms, AI-enabled tools, and internal products that create measurable value for Fortune 500 and growth-stage clients alike. This role sits at the intersection of engineering excellence, applied AI, and business impact—partnering closely with executives, product leaders, and multidisciplinary teams to deliver systems that can be adopted, trusted, and scaled.
As a Software Engineering Director, you will lead the design and delivery of production-grade software systems and AI-enabled tooling that underpin high-visibility client engagements and internal platforms. You will own architectural decisions, development standards, and technical direction across multiple workstreams.
Successful candidates will bring strong engineering judgment, fluency in modern AI tooling, and the ability to operate comfortably across strategy and execution.
We offer a comprehensive compensation and benefits package where you'll be rewarded based on your performance and recognized for the value you bring to the business. The base salary range in the US is $205,000 to $235,000. In addition, our Total Rewards package includes medical and dental coverage, pension and 401(k) plans, and a variety of paid time off options.
Our expectation is for most people in external client‑serving roles to work together in person 40‑60% of the time over the course of an engagement, project or year. Under our flexible vacation policy, you'll decide how much vacation time you need based on your own personal circumstances.
