$170,000.00/yr - $200,000.00/yr

We have partnered with a market leading IPP on a search for an experienced attorney withenergy trading/PPA/Offtake agreements. The prime focus of the individual will be to support the origination team in their formulation of offtake agreements, hedging documents and PPA's in the United States.

Responsibilities

• Oversee, draft and advise on commercial power contracts including complex offtake, power purchase agreements and hedging transactions
• Collaborate with the origination, trading, engineering and AM teams to understand the operation of renewable systems for advising on applicable agreements
• Advise on trading activities and draft associated agreements
• Manage outside counsel where relevant

Required Skills

• 5 years + attorney experience supporting a trading or origination function
• Law firm experience preferred
• Desired - 2 year + experience with renewable projects
