Opportunity
Our Artificial Intelligence and Datateam applies cutting‑edge technology to deliver solutions to clients. In this role you will research, build and implement scalable AI systems, enhance data pipelines, monitor learning processes, and ensure compliance with healthcare regulations while creating solutions across cloud and on‑premises environments. You will work side‑by‑side with clients and life sciences stakeholders, building knowledge that can be applied across a wide range of projects.
Key Responsibilities
- Lead workstream delivery and manage effective processes and projects.
- Continuously improve processes by identifying innovative solutions through research and analysis.
- Manage professional employees and supervise teams to deliver complex technical initiatives, holding accountability for performance and results.
- Engage actively with clients, participate in daily working sessions, and lead workstreams from planning through execution to closure.
- Identify and develop new business opportunities within the life sciences domain.
- Collaborate with life sciences professionals to tailor AI solutions that enhance commercial and patient outcomes and streamline clinical workflows.
- Identify opportunities for additional services and manage engagement economics.

Qualifications
- Bachelor's degree (4‑year degree).
- 6–10 years of full‑time experience in AI, Data Science, and/or Machine Learning.
- 2–4 years of experience directly managing technical teams.
- Strong skills in Python.
- Ability to lead, collaborate, and communicate effectively with diverse, hybrid, and global teams.
- Experience designing, building, and maintaining high‑impact AI/ML solutions on a major cloud platform.
- Proficient in generative AI models and frameworks (e.g., OpenAI, DALL‑E, LangChain, Retrieval‑Augmented Generation) and experienced with ML packages like scikit‑learn and PyTorch.
- Experience with natural language processing and deep learning.
- Extensive experience in DevOps tools (Git, Azure DevOps), Agile methodologies (Jira), and CI/CD pipelines.
- Experience with MLOps and ML workflows, including data ingestion, transformation, and evaluation.
- Experience with model retraining and feedback loop methodologies.
- Experience with model and solution monitoring and reporting.
- Understanding of data structures, data modelling, and software engineering best practices.
- Strong foundation in mathematics, statistics, and operations research, with proficiency in data manipulation tools (SQL, Pandas, Spark) and deep learning techniques.
- Experience with life science commercial operations data standards and interoperability protocols.
- Excellent communication skills for conveying findings and recommendations, with willingness to travel for client engagements.

- Strong skills in languages beyond Python (R, JavaScript, Java, C++, C).
- Experience fine‑tuning generative AI models.
- Experience managing complex projects with multiple stakeholders.
- Strong understanding of industry trends and emerging technologies in life sciences.
- Skills in data visualization and storytelling with data.
- Experience with image processing techniques and/or speech, audio processing, and analysis.

- Competitive base salary range: $125,500–$230,200 (US) and $150,700–$261,600 for certain metro areas.
