Warehouse Receiving Clerk - Favorite Brands
Job Summary

The Warehouse Receiving Clerk is responsible for ensuring all incoming products are accurately received, inspected, and recorded in a timely manner. This role plays a critical part in maintaining inventory accuracy and supporting efficient warehouse operations. The ideal candidate is detail-oriented, organized, and able to work in a fast-paced environment.
Essential Duties & Responsibilities

• Receive incoming shipments and verify contents against purchase orders and invoices
• Inspect products for damages, shortages, or discrepancies and report issues promptly
• Accurately enter received goods into the inventory management system
• Label, tag, and organize products for proper storage within the warehouse
• Coordinate with warehouse team members to ensure timely stocking of received goods
• Maintain clean and organized receiving and staging areas
• Communicate with vendors, drivers, and internal departments regarding deliveries
• Assist with unloading trucks using pallet jacks, forklifts, or other equipment (as needed)
• Ensure compliance with company policies, safety standards, and warehouse procedures
• Support periodic inventory counts and audits
• Assist with other warehouse duties as assigned

• Warehouse setting with exposure to varying temperatures
• Frequent standing, walking, bending, and lifting
• Fast-paced, team-oriented environment

• Experience in beverage or distribution industry
• Knowledge of FIFO (First In, First Out) inventory practices
• Bilingual (English/Spanish) is a plus

• High school diploma or equivalent required
• Previous warehouse receiving or inventory experience preferred
• Basic computer skills and familiarity with inventory systems
• Strong attention to detail and organizational skills
• Ability to lift up to 50 lbs and work on feet for extended periods
• Ability to operate warehouse equipment (forklift experience preferred, certification a plus)
• Strong communication and teamwork skills
• Reliable attendance and punctuality
