Reporting to the Billing Manager, the Billing Specialist is responsible for generating and processing invoices in an accurate and timely manner. This role will work directly with our customers and other departments to answer questions and to resolve issues.
Identifies, troubleshoots, and resolves any billing discrepancies through consultation with our Sales and Operations personnel.
Prepares and sends out customer invoices and statements
Verifies that customer account information is accurate and updated
Inputs and manages customer data in the billing portals
Other duties as assigned by management
Must have a high school diploma or equivalent
Must have 2+ years' experience working in a fast-paced billing position (Knowledge of Customer Portals: Ariba, Open Invoice, Coupa, etc. a PLUS!)
Must have 2+ years' experience working with Microsoft Office (Word, Outlook, Excel, etc.)
Must be able to communicate clearly and effectively with our customers and departments over the phone, email and in person
Must demonstrate initiative, strong attention to detail and the ability to prioritize work
