Manager, Clinical Data/Medical Science (Remote – NA only)Overall, the role will be responsible for three primary performance areas: Customer Delivery and Success, Business Impact, and People Leadership.ResponsibilitiesWorks closely with the FSP Lead to ensure the team provides quality deliverables and meets customer expectations.Manages performance and daily activities of multifunctional team members to excel in service delivery and compliance with agreed‑upon KPIs; develops and executes mitigation and remediation plans for non‑compliance.Proactively communicates and manages customer issues through assigned escalation channels.Drives revenue by attracting, selecting, and retaining the right talent.Attends and participates in FSP360 account meetings, regional management team meetings, and Town Halls.Provides line management to FSP360 team members.Responsible for active management of team members' performance through the established Syneos Health process, including goal setting, mid‑year reviews, year‑end evaluations, and implementation of performance improvement plans as necessary.Verifies that team members adhere to training guidelines, maintain training records, and that individual and corporate training needs are identified and addressed.Provides administrative oversight (e.g., HR processes, timecards, expense reports).Reviews workload and utilization for all team members.Supports team members' professional development through coaching, opportunities to increase knowledge and skill levels, and delegation of tasks commensurate with skill level.Ensures engagement, retention, and turnover rates remain within expected levels; recognizes team members while encouraging a culture of accountability.Demonstrates commitment to diversity, equity and inclusion through continuous staff development, modeling inclusive behaviors, and proactively managing bias.QualificationsMinimum of five years of progressive clinical research experience with line‑management experience.Bachelor's degree in life sciences, nursing, or equivalent related experience; extensive clinical research experience in a contract research organization, pharmaceutical, or biotechnology company, including leadership roles.Excellent communication, presentation, interpersonal, written, and spoken skills.Strong time‑management, technical, and organizational skills; able to work independently and within a team.Creative problem‑solver who is self‑motivated, flexible, open to change, collaborative, and possesses a customer‑centric mindset.Knowledge of basic financial concepts related to forecasting and budgeting.Good computer skills and willingness to embrace new technologies.BenefitsCompany car or car allowance.Health benefits including medical, dental, and vision.Company match 401(k).Eligibility to participate in the Employee Stock Purchase Plan.Eligibility to earn commissions/bonuses based on company and individual performance.Flexible paid time off and sick time (subject to state and municipal regulations).Additional InformationTasks, duties, and responsibilities listed are not exhaustive.
