Role--Oracle JD Edwards CNC Consultant Client Location Houston, Texas
Lead CNC tasks including JDE Tools and Application updates
Manage end-to-end JDE installations, release upgrades, and environment setups
Perform system checks, package builds, and apply patches and fixes
Troubleshoot technical issues and provide support to end-users and project teams
Collaborate with developers and functional consultants to implement enhancements
Maintain documentation for CNC procedures, configurations, and troubleshooting
Support data migration tasks and execute SQL scripts as needed
Administer and support middleware platforms like WebLogic/WebSphere and JDE BSSV
Implement and monitor security measures to ensure compliance
Stay updated with the latest JDE releases, features, and best practices
Understanding of BoltOns associated with JDE
Required Skills Qualifications
Bachelors degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or related field
Hands-on experience in JD Edwards CNC roles
Strong understanding of JDE architecture, tools, and application updates
Experience with Oracle and SQL databases
Familiarity with operating systems such as Linux, Windows, and AS400
Knowledge of cloud platforms like Oracle Cloud Infrastructure (OCI) is a plus
Excellent problem-solving and analytical skills
Strong communication and interpersonal abilities
Ability to work independently and in a team-oriented environment.
