We are partnering with a leading industrial manufacturing business to appoint a Senior Quality Manager to lead and evolve their quality function at a critical stage of growth.

This is a high-impact leadership role, responsible for driving both Quality Assurance and Quality Control across a complex production environment, with full ownership of systems, compliance, and continuous improvement initiatives.

The Opportunity

This role sits at the heart of operations, working closely with Production, Procurement, and Executive Leadership to elevate quality performance, ensure compliance with industry standards, and enhance operational efficiency.

You will have full ownership of:

• Quality strategy and performance across raw materials and finished goods
• Non-conformance management and root cause analysis
• ISO compliance, audits, and QMS development
• Supplier quality and risk evaluation
• Continuous improvement across the manufacturing process

Key Responsibilities

Leadership & Strategy

• Develop and execute quality initiatives aligned with operational and financial goals
• Provide performance insights and reporting to senior leadership
• Champion a culture of continuous improvement across the plant

Quality Systems & Compliance

• Own and develop the Quality Management System (QMS)
• Lead ISO 9001 compliance, audits, and audit readiness
• Drive internal audit programs and corrective action processes

Supplier & Raw Material Quality

• Evaluate supplier risk and performance
• Support supplier approval, qualification, and disqualification decisions
• Implement and enhance material testing and quality protocols

Non-Conformance & Continuous Improvement

• Lead Root Cause Analysis (RCA) and corrective actions
• Oversee disposition of non-conforming materials and products
• Track supplier and internal performance improvements

Team Leadership

• Lead and develop a team across Quality and Laboratory functions
• Drive training, performance management, and succession planning

What We're Looking For

• 8–10+ years in quality (QA/QC) within manufacturing
• Proven leadership experience managing teams and cross-functional stakeholders
• Strong experience with ISO 9001 / QMS systems
• Experience with Root Cause Analysis / CAPA
• Background in industrial, materials, or process-driven manufacturing environments preferred
• Degree in Engineering, Quality, Materials Science, Chemistry, or related field

Nice to have:

• ISO Lead Auditor, CQA, or Lean Six Sigma certification
