Retained Executive Search - Private Equity Office of the CFO

Finatal is partnered with a construction services company backed by a leading private equity sponsor, seeking an accomplished Corporate Controller to help drive its next phase of growth. With approximately $100M in annual revenue and an active buy-and-build strategy, the company plans to scale through acquisitions and prepare for an exit within the next 24 months.

Key Responsibilities

• Lead and oversee all accounting operations, ensuring timely and accurate financial reporting.
• Partner with the CEO, CFO, and executive team to support strategic decision-making.
• Integrate newly acquired businesses and establish scalable systems and controls.
• Drive process improvements to meet the rigor of a PE-backed environment and upcoming exit.

Qualifications

• Proven experience as a Controller or senior accounting leader within a construction or construction-services company.
• Track record in a private-equity environment, ideally through growth and transaction/exit events.
• Strong technical accounting expertise and hands-on leadership style.
• Ability to thrive in a fast-paced, acquisition-driven organization.
