Corporate & Securities Associate – Texas

A leading national law firm is seeking a Corporate & Securities Associate with 2–4 years of corporate experience to join its Texas Corporate team.This role offers client‑facing opportunities, mentorship, and exposure to complex transactions across diverse industries.

Location: Austin, TX or Houston, TX

Practice Area: Corporate / Securities / M&A / Venture Capital

Position Type: Associate (2–4 Years PQE)

Key Responsibilities

• Advise public and private companies on general corporate matters and commercial transactions
• Participate in emerging technology, venture capital, private equity, energy, joint ventures, and M&A transactions
• Collaborate with lawyers across Texas offices and firm‑wide teams
• Communicate effectively with clients and colleagues on complex corporate matters
• Demonstrate initiative, leadership, and commitment to high‑quality work

Qualifications

• JD from an accredited law school
• 2–4 years of corporate experience, ideally with an Am Law 100 firm
• Excellent academic credentials and strong analytical, research, and drafting skills
• Admission to the Texas Bar or eligibility for admission
• Exceptional interpersonal and communication abilities
