Position Summary

Spire is currently seekingaManagingConsultantwithprovenconstruction schedulingand cost managementexperienceto supportongoingand future projects, whilehelping to advancethe company'sstrategic vision.Primary duties willencompass leading project controls functionsincluding schedule management, risk management, earned value management,andcostandchange management on assigned projects.

Additionally,this role willsupportthe Project Controls teamin the management ofteam members,andexecution to service line goals andKPI's. This role will guide project teams through project management and project controls systems implementation, including forecasting, analysis, reporting, and dashboard development.

Responsibilities

Technical

  • Reviewcontract, specifications, and drawings to confirmdesign and construction schedule baselines and updates for comprehensiveness, quality, and constructabilityand risk.
  • Develop and implement cost administration and reporting systems including estimates, budgets, schedules,manhour, cost, and earned value reports.
  • Develop, analyze,and presentCritical Path Method (CPM)schedules.
  • Reviewand analyzecritical path, cost loading, schedule content,and forecasted work.
  • Identifyschedulelogic,relationships, constraints,optimalsequencing,and milestones.
  • Perform, confirm,and presentscheduleimpact analysis for change orders.
  • QA/QC review of schedule submissions for conformance.
  • Prepare reportsfor internal leadership and client stakeholders.
  • Support business development effortsthrough technicalexpertiseand client engagement.
  • Ensure all project control procedures are in place and being followed.
  • Participate inindustry organizationsand networks.

Engagement Management

  • Serveas theprojectlead,manage multiple projectsand deliverableswith individual deadlines.
  • Support business developmentthrough proposal preparation (scope, budgets, and resources plans).
  • Provide progress updates toseniormanagementandclient stakeholders.
  • Lead and encourage team collaborationand accountability.
  • Manage team members and delegate tasksaccordingly.
  • Coordinateclient meetings and project communication.

Education/Qualifications

  • Bachelor's degree inEngineering,ConstructionManagement,or related discipline.
  • At least ten (10)yearsofproject controlsexperience

Skills

  • Proficiencyin PrimaveraP6andrelated scheduling software.
  • Advancedunderstanding of key scheduling principles and concepts.
  • Strong interpersonal skills,communication,and problem-solving skills.
  • Knowledgeable and proficientinproject management processes and procedures.
  • Highlevelof initiative, personal responsibility, and integrity.
  • Positive, team-oriented attitude; willing topitch inwherever needed toassistthe team.
  • Experiencewith, or ability to learn, tools such asTimberline, RS means and MS project.
  • Possess a strong entrepreneurial drive and the desire to continually enhance professional capabilitieswith minimal supervision.
  • Strong writing, presentation, and analytical skills with keen attention to detail.
  • Ability tomanage multiple projects in a fast-paced environment,while meeting required goals and deadlines.
  • Willingness to travel asrequired.
