Job Title: PeopleSoft Oracle Financial ConsultantLocation: Houston, TX (Hybrid preferred) - Locals only PreferredNote: Accepting only US Citizens/Green card Holders....Overview:Hospital Organization client is seeking a PeopleSoft Oracle Financial Consultant with strong healthcare financial operations experience to support and optimize enterprise financial systems. This role will focus on PeopleSoft Financials , data integration , and alignment with clinical and hospital operations .This is not just a technical role — they need someone who understands how financial systems impact hospital workflows, patient services, and operational efficiency .Key Responsibilities:Lead configuration, support, and optimization of Oracle PeopleSoft Financials modules (GL, AP, AR, Asset Management, Billing)Design and implement data integrations between PeopleSoft, SAP , and other enterprise systems (EHR, supply chain, etc.)Partner with clinical operations and hospital finance teams to align system functionality with real-world workflowsAnalyze and improve financial data flows across systems to ensure accuracy, compliance, and reporting integritySupport month-end/year-end close processes , audits, and regulatory reporting requirementsCollaborate with IT and business stakeholders to gather requirements and deliver scalable solutionsTroubleshoot system issues and drive continuous improvement initiativesDocument system configurations, integrations, and business processesRequired Qualifications:7+ years of experience with Oracle PeopleSoft FinancialsStrong hands-on experience with data integration (APIs, ETL tools, middleware, or custom integrations)Experience working in healthcare or hospital environmentsSolid understanding of financial operations (GL, AP, AR, budgeting, reporting)Experience integrating or working alongside SAP environmentsAbility to translate business needs into technical solutionsStrong stakeholder communication skills (finance + clinical teams)Preferred Qualifications:Experience supporting public health systems or large hospital networksFamiliarity with clinical operations workflows and how they impact financial systemsExperience with EHR integrations (Epic, Cerner, etc.)Knowledge of compliance standards (HIPAA, healthcare financial regulations)Prior experience in system implementations or transformationsWhat Success Looks Like:Seamless integration between financial and clinical systemsImproved financial reporting accuracy and timelinessStrong alignment between IT systems and hospital operationsReduced manual work through automation and process improvementWhy This Role Matters:Financial systems directly impact patient care delivery, operational efficiency, and compliance .
