Crane Operator

Key Responsibilities:

• Responsible for operating an overhead crane to lift, move, position, and reposition materials. Load and unload trailers, and/or railroad cars.
• Log and report inventory location changes according to the specified procedure into the inventory computer system and/or by paperwork.
• Log and tag inventory received according to the specified procedure.
• Assemble customer orders according to work orders.

Requirements and Qualifications:

• Experience in the steel/metal processing, manufacturing, and pipe yard industry (preferred).
• Overhead Crane Operator experience required (over 20 tons required, over 45 tons a bonus)
• Safety sensitive; maintain compliance with all safety requirements, policies, and procedures. Motivating a positive attitude.
• Dependable and consistent attendance/punctuality. Reliable transportation to and from work.
• Ability to work overtime and weekends as assigned.
• Solid level of experience in remote overhead crane operations, be physically able to work at a fast pace while maintaining an eye for detail, and have a proven track record of employment history.
• Pipe Yard environment - must be able to work in all-weather elements.
• Must be able to lift to 55lbs.
• 5 AM to 6 PM (8-12-hour shift) Must be open to working weekends.
