With a strong focus on patient care and operational excellence, they are seeking a skilled Billing Supervisor to lead their revenue cycle team and support continued growth.Job DescriptionThe Primary Care Billing Supervisor will oversee daily billing operations, ensuring accurate and timely claim submission, payment posting, and accounts receivable follow-up. This individual will lead a team of billing professionals, drive process improvements, and ensure compliance with payer guidelines and regulatory requirements.Key ResponsibilitiesSupervise day-to-day billing operations for primary care services, including claims submission, payment posting, and A/R follow-upLead, mentor, and develop billing staff, providing ongoing training and performance managementMonitor key revenue cycle metrics and identify opportunities to improve cash flow and reduce denialsReview and resolve complex billing issues, including denied or underpaid claimsEnsure compliance with payer regulations, coding guidelines, and HIPAA standardsCollaborate with clinical and administrative teams to improve documentation and billing accuracyOversee reconciliation processes and ensure timely and accurate reportingIdentify payer trends and implement corrective actions to improve reimbursementQualifications3+ years of medical billing experience, with at least 1 year in a supervisory or lead roleStrong knowledge of primary care billing, coding, and reimbursement processesExperience with EMR/EHR systemsProven experience managing A/R, denials, and payment posting workflowsStrong leadership, communication, and problem-solving skillsHigh attention to detail and ability to manage multiple priorities in a fast-paced environmentAdditional DetailsSchedule: Monday – Friday, 8:00 AM – 5:00 PMEmployment Type: Full-timeLocation: Onsite in San Antonio, TXPerksCompetitive compensation packageComprehensive benefits (medical, dental, vision)Paid time off and holidaysOpportunity to lead a high-impact team within a growing organizationStable, team-oriented work environment
